Stališča učencev šestega razreda do vidikov trajnostne kakovosti življenja

Povzetek

Koncept trajnostne kakovosti življenja povezuje kakovost življenja s trajnostno rabo virov. Namen raziskave je bil preučiti stališča učencev do devetih vidikov trajnostne kakovosti življenja: zdravje in varnost, prosti čas in počitek, narava in pokrajina, prihodek in delo, mobilnost, identifikacija in pripadnost, enakopravnost in socialni odnosi, izobraževanje in znanje ter prebivanje. Raziskava je temeljila na kvantitativnem presečnem raziskovalnem pristopu in je vključevala 120 učencev šestega razreda slovenskih osnovnih šol. Podatki so bili zbrani s strukturiranim vprašalnikom, zasnovanim na modelu koncepta trajnostne kakovosti življenja, pri čemer so udeleženci odgovarjali na petstopenjski Likertovi lestvici. Rezultati so pokazali, da učenci vse vidike trajnostne kakovosti življenja na splošno ocenjujejo kot pomembne. Najvišje so ocenili vidike zdravje in varnost, prihodek in delo ter prebivanje, medtem ko sta bila vidika mobilnost ter identifikacija in pripadnost ocenjena nekoliko nižje. Med spoloma niso bile ugotovljene statistično značilne razlike, ugotovljena pa je bila statistično značilna razlika glede na zemljepisno okolje pri vidiku prihodek in delo, saj so mu učenci iz ruralnega okolja pripisali večji pomen. Čeprav ugotovitve kažejo, da se učenci zavedajo pomena vidikov trajnostne kakovosti življenja, hkrati opozarjajo na potrebo po večjem pedagoškem poudarku na razvijanju kritičnega mišljenja, aktivne participacije in vsakodnevnih praks, povezanih s trajnostjo.
